Creative work for Year 2 - Gods beautiful world. Y2 learnt how God loves us by creating our beautiful world. Also the children learnt about the art of Yayoi Kusama and designed these pumpkins in the style of Yayoi. For Remembrance the children leant about the history of WW1 and the people who lost their lives, here are some of their poppy designs.
PHONICS - LITTLE WANDLE
At St. Alban's, we have just adopted a new phonics scheme called Little Wandle. There is a very informative parent's section if adults want to look at ways of helping children at home or understanding the work they do in school. There is information on the sounds that your child will be learning, with some videos which explain about pronunciation.
